We offer Comprehensive Dental/Oral Exams for you and your family. During your first visit with us, you can expect an all-inclusive examination lasting approximately one hour. The expansive dental assessment list includes: visual exam, blood pressure reading if necessary, periodontal probing (helps detect periodontal disease signs), digital x-rays, existing dental work evaluation, intra-oral camera viewing and oral cancer flashlite screening (Oral ID). Recent research has shown a possible correlation between oral bacteria and gum disease with obesity ,  diabetes , and even heart disease and strokes!  The method of sedation you receive will be customized to your unique needs. From mild to advanced, sedation options include:Nitrous Oxide Sedation – Simply inhaling a calming gas during the procedure can greatly reduce anxiety, especially for routine dental visits.Oral Conscious Sedation – You can take a prescribed pill prior to your visit to encourage calm and relaxation. The oral medication will cause you to be drowsy, and you will remember little from the actual procedure. IV Sedation – This is the preferred method for most fearful patients. With IV sedation, Dr. Belsito can control the sedative dosage throughout the procedure. With this safe, predictable method, you will enter a “twilight” stage and remember little, if any, of the actual procedure.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are long-term replacements that Dr. Belsito surgically places in the jawbone. These dental implants are composed of titanium are are very safe and strong. These could provide advantages over removeable dentures or “false teeth.” Once the implant is inserted and over a healing time, a crown appliance is then placed on the supporting implant. All forms of treatment which includes paediatric (children) dentistry, growth (functional) appliances, tongue tie release and frenectomy. In children, today more than ever tooth decay is epidemic, 1 in 10 kids have oral issues! Invisalign Clear Braces

There are several options for straightening teeth......appliances, traditional wire braces and the relatively new and modern way using Invisalign®. This approach offers a great level of comfort, convenience and confidence. There are differences of clear aligners and traditional wire braces, and we would be glad to discus them. ​Custom-made series of aligners are created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually shift your teeth into place through a series of aligners ordered at Belsitodental. There are no metal brackets to attach and no metal wires to use or change. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. Early treatment, or Phase I, would be recommended if there are certain discrepancies in the development of the upper and lower jaws. Early treatment can correct these problems in the early growth phase of your child (utilizing a functional appliance), which develops the bone to a more normal size, to allow enough room for the permanent teeth to erupt in a more favorable position. There may be advantages to early treatment..... Correct harmful habits such as thumb sucking and tongue thrusting · Improved speech · May eliminate the need for the extraction of permanent teeth· Possibly improve head posture which could help eliminate/prevent neck pain· Possibly prevent grinding of the teeth at night· Possibly improves nose breathing · Potentially prevents gum recession · Possibly prevents headaches and earaches.
